Tell us
If you think something we published is wrong, use our contact page. Please include the link to the article, what is wrong and anything that shows the correct facts.
What we do
- We check every request and reply, normally within five working days.
- If we got a fact wrong, we correct the article and add a dated note under Corrections and clarifications at the end, so readers can see what changed. Serious mistakes are also noted at the top.
- We do not quietly change facts. Small slips, such as a typing error, are fixed without a note.
Official texts
Articles marked with GOV.UK or legislation.gov.uk as their source reproduce the government's own wording. If we copied something wrongly we fix it straight away. If the government later changes its text, we update ours or point to the new version. We cannot change what the government wrote: for that, please contact the department that published it.
Right of reply
If we have written about you or your business and you would like to respond, tell us. Where it is fair and relevant, we will add your response to the article.
Asking us to remove something
We do not remove accurate reporting just because it is unwelcome, but we will act quickly on anything that is wrong, unlawful or puts someone at risk.
Complaints
If you are not happy with our answer, reply to it and ask for your complaint to be reviewed by the publisher, WasteLinks Marketplace Ltd. We will give you a final answer in writing.
